In biology, the different modes of transportation include passive transport and active transport. Passive transport involves the movement of molecules across a cell membrane without the input of energy, while active transport requires the use of energy to move molecules against their concentration gradient. Modes of operation in biology include aerobic respiration, which requires oxygen to produce energy, and anaerobic respiration, which does not require oxygen. Additionally, photosynthesis is another mode of operation in biology, where plants use sunlight to convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose and oxygen. **
